STS’s 50th Big Birthday Bash (Our Biggest Party Ever!)
“Celebrate good times, come on, let’s celebrate!”
We are excited to mark the 50th Anniversary of Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School with our Big Birthday Bash!
Never before has this kind of event taken place on the STS campus – but you only turn 50 once!
All STS community members 18 years and older are invited to join us for an incredible evening of fun.
The party will take place in a giant tent, where we can enjoy reconnecting, live music, and great food, all on the beautiful STS campus, ending with a fabulous firework show!
This is a great opportunity to visit with fellow parents, alumni classmates, and former teachers and colleagues. Join us for a very special evening you will never forget.
Event program
5:00 pm shuttle buses start
5:30 pm cocktails and optional school tours
6:30 to 8:00 pm buffet-style dinner, including a variety of BBQ’d proteins on a bun (veggie and gluten-free options available), pasta salad, fresh vegetables.
NOTE: Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available throughout the evening.
9:00 pm dancing with live musical guests, “One Nite Band”
10:45 pm 50th celebration fireworks
11:00 pm last call
12:00 pm last shuttle bus departs STS campus
Casual attire
Shuttle buses will be available to and from South Centre Mall (Safeway parking lot).
Buses start at 5:00 pm, every hour, with the last buses leaving STS at midnight. Sign-up by May 30.
